<h4>Where is the theatre located?</h4>
<p>The Emerson Colonial Theatre is located in Boston’s theatre district across from Boston Common at 106 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116.</p>

<h4>When does the theatre open before the show?</h4>
<p>Unless otherwise noted, lobby doors will open one hour prior to the performance and the auditorium doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance to allow time for bag inspection and security check.</p>
<h4>Is late seating allowed?</h4>
<p>Late seating policies vary show-to-show. When allowed, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management at an appropriate moment during the show. Guests will be notified ahead of time if late seating is not permitted for any performance.</p>
<h4>Can I leave the theatre and return during the performance?</h4>
<p>Guests entering the building must have their ticket with them at all times. Re-entry to the performance is at the discretion of each show and may be subject to holding times and/or refusal. Please check with an usher before leaving the performance.</p>
<h4>How will I find out if a performance is cancelled/postponed?</h4>
<p>Emerson Colonial Theatre will contact you via the information you provided at the time of purchasing your ticket in the rare event that a performance is cancelled or postponed. <h4>Can I bring my bag into the theatre?</h4>
<p>Guests are required to comply with bag searching and security. Luggage and large bags will not be permitted. There is no location to check bags in the venue. Bags larger than standard backpack size of 22” x 14” x 9” will not be permitted into the venue. Outside food and beverage, including leftovers and restaurant to-go bags, is not permitted. If food is required due to a medical condition, please see a staff member for accommodations.</p>
<h4>Where are the restrooms located?</h4>
<p>There are women’s rooms are located on the Orchestra level, Dress Circle, and Balcony. Men’s rooms are located on the Lower level, Dress Circle, and Balcony. There is a fully accessible Family/Gender Neutral restroom, complete with changing table accommodations, located on the Orchestra level. Emerson Colonial Theatre's policy is that all guests can use whatever restroom they are most comfortable using.</p>

<p>All audience members regardless of age must have a ticket; no lap seating is permitted. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. <div>There are 4 full-service bars throughout the Emerson Colonial Theater, offering everything from local specialty brews to Frosé from Provence. We hope that our signature snacks and unique beverage selection will pleasantly surprise you. You will find two bars on the ground floor as well as one on the second and third floors, for those seated in the Mezzanine or Balcony.</div>
<h4><br>The Ambassador Lounge</h4>
<div>Entrance into the Ambassador Lounge includes a dedicated bar service, complimentary coat and bag check, private restroom facilities and access to a private staircase to get you right to your seat. Entrance into the Ambassador Lounge includes a dedicated bar service, complimentary coat and bag check, private restroom facilities and access to a private staircase to get you right to your seat. The Emerson Colonial Theatre offers three different food and drink packages: 2 x Frozen Cocktails, Wine & Snack, and Beer & Snack. In-Seat Delivery is also available to order food without leaving your seat.
